What You’ll Learn
- How to create and title a new album
- How to publish/unpublish albums so they’re visible (or hidden) on the site
- How to reorder albums in the navigation menu
- How to add, delete, and reorder photos within an album
Step-by-Step
- Create a New Album
- Navigate to the Photo Albums CMS Collection.
- Click New Album and give it a clear, descriptive title (e.g., “Spring 2025 Arts Program”).
- Control Album Visibility
- Use the Visible on Website toggle to publish or hide the album.
- Published albums will automatically appear on the Photos page.
- Reorder Albums in the Menu
- Adjust the Order field for each album to control how they’re displayed in the navigation.
- Lower numbers appear first; higher numbers appear later.
- Add & Manage Photos
- Inside the album, click Add Image to upload new photos.
- To remove an image, click the trash icon beside it.
- To change the order, drag and drop the images into the sequence you want.
Tips & Notes
- Keep album super titles short and specific so visitors can quickly find what they’re looking for.
- Larger images may take longer to load–optimizing photo sizes before upload will keep the site fast.
- Unpublishing an album doesn’t delete it; it just hides it from the public site.
