Community Conversation with After the Fire USA

Join us for an open and informal “Ask Them Anything” session.

On Tuesday, November 11 at 3:00 PM, a delegation from After the Fire USA will visit the Palisades Community Renewal Center.

This is a unique opportunity to connect directly with the leadership of After the Fire USA, a nonprofit born from the 2017 North Bay Fires, now working nationally to help communities recover and build resilience after wildfires. They connect leaders, survivors, and organizations to share knowledge, advocate for smarter recovery systems, and strengthen wildfire-affected communities.

Join us for an open and informal “Ask Them Anything” session. This is a space to bring your questions and build relationships with a team of experts and connectors. There will be small snacks and light refreshments served.

This is After the Fire USA’s 9th delegation to Los Angeles. The November delegation includes:

  • Allison Block, Senior Company Giving and Industry Development Program Manager, Simpson Strong-Tie
  • Brad Sherwood, Assistant General Manager, Sonoma Water Agency; Founder, Larkfield Rising (Tubbs Fire 2017 – Total Loss)
  • Casey Taylor, Superintendent and Founder, Achieve Charter Schools (Camp Fire 2018 – Total Loss)

  • Natalie Minuzzo, Executive Assistant and Coordinator, After the Fire USA

These delegations are part of After the Fire USA’s Community to Community program, designed to build lasting relationships and provide meaningful support in the aftermath of wildfire disasters. Following the Palisades and Eaton Fires, their team was on the ground in Los Angeles, listening to residents, connecting with local leaders, and responding to urgent needs during the earliest days of recovery.

We hope you can join this important community conversation!
